Originally from Melbourne, Pete Gionis is a stand up comedian and event producer based in London. He is currently the resident MC and producer of London’s Comedy Carnival, a showcase of unfiltered, unapologetic, international stand up comedy.

He is also a producer of Greek, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian comedy events. He has produced foreign language shows at the New York Comedy Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for the award-winning event production company, Leviathan Entertainment, which he founded.

In addition to having a sold out show at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, he has been a regular performer at Britain’s leading comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store, The Stand, The Comedy Cafe, Komedia and the Covent Garden Comedy Club.

Before Comedy Carnival, he was the resident MC and producer of the acclaimed Comedy Tree in Putney and Hammersmith.
